Custom Industrial Control Panel Design

From schematic to startup — your panels, our responsibility, zero excuses.

Concept Systems operates an in-house UL 508A, UL 698A, and UL NNNY certified panel shop in Albany, Oregon, designing and building custom industrial control panels for automation systems across aerospace, food & beverage, mining, and general manufacturing. Every panel is engineered, fabricated, wired, and fully tested under one roof — eliminating delays, markups, and finger-pointing common with outsourced shops.

How Our In-House UL-Certified Panel Shop Works for You

We take your approved electrical design (or create it ourselves) and turn it into production-ready enclosures using Rockwell, Siemens, or client-specified components. Panels are built to the latest NEC, NFPA 79, and UL standards, then undergo point-to-point continuity checks, full power-up, and I/O simulation before leaving our facility — so they arrive on site ready to drop in and run.

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Custom Control Panels

Are all your panels UL 508A listed?

We build panels to your project requirements and corporate standards. By default, we design and fabricate industrial control panels to UL 508A, and the vast majority of panels we deliver carry a serialized UL 508A label through our in-house UL 508A shop.

That said, the final listing is driven by your specifications (and any site, customer, or regulatory requirements). For hazardous-location applications, we can also provide panels that meet UL 698A, when required.

Can you build to our corporate standards or existing drawings?

Absolutely — we routinely adopt client-specific CAD standards, component preferences, and wire-color conventions.

How long does it take to get a panel built?

Standard panels: 4–6 weeks ARO. Large or complex suites: 8–12 weeks.

        Do you ship nationwide?

Yes — we ship panels daily across the U.S. and occasionally Canada/Mexico with proper export labeling.

Can we tour the panel shop?

Of course — many clients visit Albany, Oregon to witness FAT and see our process firsthand.
